Kids & Family Yoga
A fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.
Kids can bring parents, siblings, grandparents, or even neighbours to enjoy the benefits of yoga as a family. Enjoy stretching and playing together in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Things to Know...
- Suitable for ages 4 and up.
- Suitable for absolute beginners.
- This class is in exchange for a monetary donation towards World Vision Canada. The Bodymind Centre sponsors 4 children in Africa. If you would like to send them a letter or draw them a picture, be sure to bring to class!
