Vinyasa & Flow Yoga
Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." Vinyasa and Flow classes link postures together in a fluid, continuously moving practice, almost like a graceful dance. Due to the deep rhythmic breathing and continuous movement, these classes are excellent for building cardiovascular health.
The creation is a dynamic flowing sequence of postures linking breath and movement. Practice begins with postures to warm up all major muscles and joints, then moves into a challenging series to build core strength, flexibility, and endurance. Class ends with Yin style postures (long-held postures that stimulate the health and flexibility of the joints) and deep relaxation. Emphasis is on alignment, safety, and fun.
Flow yoga is about connecting your movements with your breath to build a dynamic fluid practice so your postures stream together like a dance in slow motion. Breath is your connection to life so listen to your inner yoga teacher and let your breathe guide you through this practice. Bring your mat, an open heart and a willingness to explore yourself.
