Kelly is a kind, caring and compassionate teacher who strives to make every student feel comfortable and welcome in her Grief Yoga, Yin and Restorative classes.

Kelly began as a Pilates student at the Bodymind Centre many years ago and since has become a yoga teacher while still enjoying being a student. In 2014 she spent her summer at the Sivananda Bahamas Ashram as a Karma Yogi, living on Paradise Island and immersing herself in the teachings and traditions of yoga.

As yoga became a regular part of Kelly's day and more of a lifestyle, she developed a thirst for a deeper knowledge and understanding of yoga. After searching for and finding her perfect YTT with Yoga Prasad Institute of India, she completed a 200 hour YTT and began teaching and sharing her knowledge as a Yoga Teacher.
She remembers her teacher Prasad saying -  “Our yoga teacher training is now over but our learning has just begun”.

Kelly's yoga journey continued with her need to heal from personal loss which led her to the discovery of Grief Yoga.
Paul Denniston is the founder of Grief Yoga, he developed a healing practice blending Yoga, Breath, Movement and Sound  www.griefyoga.com

Kelly completed a 100 hour Grief Yoga Teacher Training and experienced firsthand how the techniques helped release anger that had become stuck in her body. A variety of emotions surfaced, were acknowledged and then released with some dedication and the want to heal.

Kelly looks forward to helping others become aware of where they hold emotional & physical pain in their body. She blends Hatha, Yin & Restorative poses with techniques to help move stuck emotions through the body and allow healing. Through awareness, expression, connection and surrender, students can move forward in their personal grief journey.
