Angela Slomke, MSc Biology, YA-RYT-500. I am a certified 500 hour yoga teacher in Hatha Tantra as well as being certified in Restorative, Yin, Somatics and Yoga for Stress, Anxiety, Depression and PTSD.
I have travelled all 6 continents studying and living the culture, yogic practices, meditation and lifestyle of 29 countries. This includes 4 months of study of Tantra Yoga in India and Nepal, Tantra Yoga and Shamanism in Ecuador and Peru, Bio-Energetic Shaking Meditation in Bali and Hridaya Silent Meditation in Mexico (from the traditions of Tantra and Advaita Vedanta) to name a few.

This exposure to world cultures, peoples and spiritual practices has made me very passionate about bringing the traditional yogic science and teachings back into “Western” yoga and life. As such I love incorporating all aspects of yoga: mantra, mudra, pranayama, meditation, Shakti dance, the Tantric practice of chakra connection and pauses of integration between asanas and even plant medicine into my yoga classes/workshops and retreats, utilizing a more meditative, yin approach.

I live in BC but travel to Thunder Bay periodically. My bucket list item on every trip is attending one of Angela's yoga classes. She is truly the best! This warm yin class did not disappoint. This is a next level yoga experience.

Hot yin with Angela today was a great way to end the week. Her class is so beautiful and she has so much knowledge. I recommend this class to anyway needing to decompress and feel relaxed.

Warm Yin and Meditation is a favourite practice of mine. Angela is a caring and knowledgeable yoga teacher and gently guides us through this class. Lengthening and stretching into the deep muscles and facsia has been a huge benefit to me. I leave the class enlightened physically and mentally.
